 Hello and Welcome to the Trafford and Hume Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale.
Our Branch covers the whole of the Borough of Trafford - that's places like Altrincham, Sale, Stretford and Urmston - plus Hulme in Manchester (west of Princess Road), some bits of north east Cheshire and part of Manchester city centre - roughly the area bounded by the Irwell, Blackfriars, Market Street, Mosley Street and Oxford Street, including such vibrant areas as Peter Street, Deansgate Locks and Castlefield where many new pubs and bars have opened up in recent years.

Cask Champion Award 2010 The Trafford & Hulme Branch has inaugurated an annual Cask Champion Award for "Services to Real Ale". This first award has been given to the Dunham Massey Brewery and the brewer, John Costello, primarily for spreading the message of cask ale, with an emphasis on traditional North West ales, throughout the local community. |

J.P.Joule in Sale Trafford and Hulme Branch have voted Wetherspoon’s J.P Joule in Sale as their Pub of the Season - Summer 2010. Named after James Prescott Joule, the English physicist, who resided in Sale, we are very pleased to see Barry Back and his team successfully win this accolade. |
