Waterhouse, City Centre. Hawkshead week long festival with Meet the Brewer on Tuesday evening

Great British Beer Festival

Earl’s Court, London

All Welcome to volunteer or visit.

Thursday 12th August

Branch Meeting

8pm Ape and Apple, John Dalton Street, Manchester

Meet in the upstairs dining room.

Thursday 19th August

Price extreme social !!

Dunham Woodhouses 8pm The Vine,  9pm Rope & Anchor.  Can use Bus no 38 or no 5

Saturday 21st August

NWAF meeting in the Kings Head, Bloom St, Salford

1pm for Working Party

3.30pm Open meeting to anyone interested.

Monday 23rd August

Local Pubs Week Meeting

7.30pm Rising Sun, Queen St. Manchester

Friday 27th August

Build stillage and stillage the beers

Morning and afternoon in the market hall.  Volunteers needed please.  PPE to be worn.

Saturday 28th, Sunday 29th and Monday 30th August

Altrincham ABC Beer festival in the Market Hall

Volunteers needed.  Only our second attempt at this festival.  Let’s make it work as it has the promise to be as good as Chorlton.

City Centre Social

8pm Commercial, Liverpool Rd, 8.45 Castlefield

9.20pm Ox, 10pm Cask. Finish at the Knott Bar

Week for a joint Manchester City Centre Local Pubs week with North Manchester and Stockport

Coincides with the launch of GBG 2011.  Guided Walks, Membership stands, Quiz nights, RNCM Festival.  More details will follow soon.

Launch at Marble Arch on 15th Sept.

Friday 17th September

City Centre Joint Crawl.

All Welcome CAMRA and members of the Public

7.30pm Crown & Kettle – Castle

8.30pm Grey Horse – Circus – Peveril of the Peak

9.30pm Britons Protection.

Sunday 19th September

Collect stillage from Salford

Afternoon.  Volunteers needed. PPE to be worn.

Monday 20th September

Build stillage and stillage beers. NB Some handpumps to be used so more work involved

Volunteers needed. PPE to be worn.

Wednesday 22ndSeptember

Meet the Lancaster Brewer

Part of Local Pubs Week

7pm onwards at the Rising Sun, Queen Street, M/cr

Thursday 23rd and Friday 24th September

Beer Festival at the Royal Northern College of Music, City Centre.  

This will be in Association with CAMRA so branch funds can be raised and volunteers will be needed.

This event finishes the Local Pubs Week.

Sunday 26th September

Return the stillage to Salford

Volunteers needed.  PPE to be worn.

Thursday 30th September

Sale Social

8pm The Brook, 9pm the Vine,

10pm Bulls Head, Finish at J P Joule

Saturday 2nd October

Trip to Spitting Feathers brewery

Now Confirmed.  £8 per head for visit.

Travel details nearer the time.

Thursday 7th October

Branch AGM

8pm onwards.  Timperley Taverners Club.

Friday 8th and Saturday 9th October

Manchester Food and Drink Festival, Albert Square

Beer festival and Best Beer of Manchester Competition.  Volunteers needed nearer the time but please put this in your diary.

Regional Meeting

Venue to be confirmed but in Bolton area

Cider Trail

Steven is now the Regional Cider Co-ordinator !!

To celebrate Cider Month Steven Swain will be organising a Cider Trail around pubs/bars in our branch area.

SIBA – Beer festival at the Palace Hotel and National voting

Details nearer the time but Volunteers will be needed.

 Chorlton Beer Festival

Beer Of the Festival award.

 Trip to Liverpool Organic Brewery to present them with their Beer Of the Festval award. Further details at August Branch Meeting.
